Have you heard the "buzzzzz"?

That's the sound of THMS kids taking action to make a positive impact on our local environment. The buzz began this summer with a handful of students making "Bee Friendly" signs to share at the Garden Tour, the donations from which funded the purchase of lumber to rebuild the Bonnie Gallagher Memorial garden. Students have adopted this garden with the intention of replanting it with native and pollinator-friendly plantings.

Do you know a student who cares about the environment? Spread the word! Thrive club meets Mondays through December from 2:15-3:15 in the art room to design more signs.  Who wouldn't want a Bee Friendly garden sign for Christmas? Come on down to the art room to see what good work Thrivers are up to, and reserve yours!  See Mrs. Gass with any questions.
