Million Daffodils Project

posted Oct 14, 2019, 2:21 PM by Bruce Bailey

Sixth grade students have been reading Pay it Forward and discussing community involvement as part of our Pride Time.  In keeping with that theme, students will be participating in the Million Daffodils for Belfast project.  On Friday, October 18, students will travel with their homeroom to Walsh Field to plant daffodils.  Homeroom classes will rotate to the site throughout the day and be outside for about an hour and a half in total.  (Lunch will occur at the normal time inside the building.)

Students should plan to dress for the weather, wearing good outdoor shoes and layers.  Bring gardening gloves if you have them. Parents interested in chaperoning should contact their child’s homeroom teacher.
