Virtual Teen Authors Visits Start Next Week!

The Portland Public and Lewiston Public teen libraries are partnering with local mental health organizations and teen authors to present the series Read Your Mind: Mental Health in Teen Books<https://www.portlandlibrary.com/series/readyourmind/>. These events are open to all middle and high school students in Maine as well as to adults who work with youth. All events in this series will take place via Zoom webinar and will be streamed live to the LPL Facebook page. Registration for Zoom is required (link below).

November’s featured book is The Stepping Off Place<https://portlandlibrary.bibliocommons.com/item/show/1718838077> by Maine author Cameron Rosenblum<https://www.cameronrosenblum.com/>. Cameron will be interviewed by fellow Maine YA author Gillian French<https://gillianfrench.com/>. Community guests will be The Center for Grieving Children<https://www.cgcmaine.org/> and The Yellow Tulip Project<https://theyellowtulipproject.org/>.
